  • To receive a grade of “Pass” in a module, all participants must attend 100% of the module and receive a grade of “70%” or higher on the exam.
To receive a McMaster University Certification of Completion in Project Management, participants must receive a grade of “Pass” in all six modules. Once started, participants have three years to complete the program.

  • Cohort participants must attend all modules in sequence. If a module is missed, a refund will not be issued. In extenuating circumstances, the Program Manager may approve transferring to another offering to complete a missed module with advanced notice. However, this is at the sole discretion of the Program Manager. Decisions will be made on an individual basis. If you are a cohort participant and will have to miss a module, please contact the Program Manager to discuss. A fee of $99 will be applied to additional module transfer requests beyond the first change.

  • Professional Development courses do not qualify to receive tax receipts for course fees.

  • The McMaster Certificate of Completion earned through the Project Management Program may be counted as 9 units of general elective credit towards the Business Administration Diploma. Individuals must successfully complete all 6 modules and receive a Certificate of Completion to be eligible.

As per McMaster University Senate policy (May 2017), a course can be used no more than two times towards a McMaster University credential. At McMaster, the term credential refers to a certificate, a certificate of completion, a diploma, a MyOWNMcMaster milestone, and an undergraduate degree.
