Lisa Gulesserian is a Learning and Development professional with a focus on leadership, career and women at work.
Lisa has been working in the learning & organizational development space for 13 years, in both Canada and Globally. She’s worked at organizations in Canada such as the University of Toronto, KPMG and Ernst & Young, supporting their regional people development initiatives. Lisa also held the position of part-time Faculty at George Brown College, teaching “Training & Development” to second year students.
Most recently, Lisa spent two years as a Leadership Development Consultant in Abu Dhabi, UAE designing customized training programs for clients in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Oman. Her areas of focus are leadership & career development, with a focus on women in leadership.
To this effect, Lisa conducted a research study “GCC Women in the Workforce: Status, Challenges & Aspirations” which surveyed women in the Middle East on their opinions about their status in the workplace, and ability to enter leadership positions. She has presented the results of this research at conferences and events in the region, and also worked with a large client in Saudi Arabia on an “Emerging Leadership Program” which has been delivered to their high potential women employees.
Lisa holds a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Toronto, and the Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) Designation through the Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA).
