Data Analytics FAQs

  • These programs are designed to follow three levels: basic, intermediate and advanced. Data Analytics is a basic level program, Data Science is intermediate to advanced program, and Big Data Programming & Architecture is an advanced level program.

Data Analytics is designed for individuals with limited academic and professional background in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) who want to get into the technology and data field or who want to do data analytics as part of their current job.

The Data Science and Big Data Programming & Architecture programs are designed to address the training needs of individuals with an introductory background and work experience in a data analytics field. You would be a good fit for the intermediate to advanced data programs if you are working in a STEM field and are looking to upgrade and use advanced techniques to analyze big data and work on data infrastructure.
