The Art of Presentations

Put Your Ideas Centre Stage

Confident and captivating communication.

Do you dread presenting to groups? Do you wish you were better at articulating your ideas and opinions in meetings?

Not having the ability to get past this nervousness could be holding you back professionally and personally. You need to learn the Art of Presentations.

McMaster Continuing Education and Theatre Aquarius have partnered up to help you. In just three morning sessions, you'll learn techniques from theatre professionals to erase those presentation jitters. Build storytelling skills along with your confidence.

Theatre Arts specializes in building vital skills that can be immediately applied to any role. Working with trained professional theatre artists, participants will learn how to create and present their own story, evoke emotion, command attention and generate empathy.

Interactive workshops have been designed to provide insight into the process of planning an effective presentation using theatre techniques. Great presenters exhibit many of the same traits as a great performer such as:

  • Discipline
  • Hard work
  • Humility
  • Courage
  • Analysis
  • Open-minded curiosity
  • Physical, vocal and mental dexterity

Participants will develop their personal presentation style, enabling them to deliver presentations with confidence to captivate audiences.

The Art of Presentations is a workshop geared to professionals in both public and private sectors across all industries. Individuals in leadership and non-leadership roles will benefit equally from enhancing their presentation skills and building their level of comfort in front of audiences.
